SG200 2C SILICONE SEALANT – STANDARD

Description

SG200 Standard is is a high modulus,two-component, neutral and elastomeric,two- component silicone sealant.
SG200 Standard has been specially designed to meet the frame bonding requirements as per the Structural
Glazing Application technique.

Areas of use

SG200 Standard is ideally suited for structural glazing applications (SSG). Its implementation is subject to compliance with the local official procedures in place and compliance with the SSG specifications. It has been specially designed for applications in the curtain walls joining workshop. The relative humidity must not exceed 80% during application

SG300 SILICONE SEALANT

Description

SG300 is a versatile, high performance silicone sealant which reacts with atmospheric moisture to produce a
flexible silicone rubber, ideal for a wide variety of general purpose joint sealing and glazing applications.
SG300 provides exceptional cure stability. Capable of taking extension, compression, transverse and longitudinal
movements, SG300 resists severe environmental conditions such as wind loading, wind driven rain, snow and sleet,
and is impervious to acid rain, ozone, ultraviolet light and extreme temperature variations. Because of its excellent adhesive qualities, SG300 provides the long-term performance required for demanding weatherproofing applications. SG300 is recommended for use on both new construction and renovation projects.

Area of use

The high modulus and outstanding physical properties of SG300 allow for sealing a wide variety of demanding applications, such as:

  • Curtain Walling, included cap, toe, heel and air seals
  • General sealing/jointing
  • Silicone Structural Glazing in 2 sided systems
  • A weather seal in butt (2 sided) and stopless (4 sided) glazing systems

SG556 GENERAL PURPOSE SILICONE WEATHER SEAL

Description

SG556 is a single component neutral curing medium modulus silicone sealant with excellent mechanical resistance and weathering capabilities and good adhesion to most porous and non-porous substrates, having a movement accommodation of +/- 30%

Usage / Purpose

SG556 is a general purpose weather seal sealant designed for use in curtainwalls and facades, perimeter and movement joints.

SG635 STRUCTURAL GLAZING SPACER TAPE

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Description

SG635 is a 300 kg density PVC foam which is coated both sides with high tack acrylic adhesive with blue filmic liner for easy release. SG635 has an open cell structure to allow curing of structural silicones on all sides of the joint.

Usage / Purpose

SG635 is designed to give a specific gap thickness for structural silicone in structural glazing systems. The open cell nature of the foam allows curing of structural silicones.
